Dawn Chen earns Enrolled Agent AccreditationBUFFALO, NY—Dopkins & Company, LLP announces Dawn D. Chen has recently earned her Enrolled Agent Accreditation.  An Enrolled Agent is a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Enrolled Agents represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service for tax issues that include audits, collections, and appeals. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.

Dawn Chen provides tax compliance services for both businesses and individuals and is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) for Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. She received her B.S. in Accounting and M.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
