BUFFALO, NY— Dopkins & Company, LLP Certified Public Accountants and Consultants successfully completed its 13th rigorous peer review with the highest ranking possible of its accounting and auditing practice in accordance with the Standards for Performing and Reporting on Peer Reviews established by the Peer Review Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization of CPAs. The reviewer(s) concluded that the Firm’s system of quality control for the accounting and auditing practice in effect for the year ended May 31, 2019, has been suitably designed and complied with to provide reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards in all material respects. A firm participating in the Peer Review Program must have an independent review of its accounting and auditing practice every three years by another independent CPA firm qualified under the program’s requirements for service as a reviewer. Dopkins was awarded a rating of “pass,” the highest ranking possible. For more information, visit www.aicpa.org.
“I am proud of our team that an independent peer firm reviewed our work and found it to be of very high quality,” explains Jim Krupinski, Assurance Services Group Director and Chair of the Firm’s Quality Control Committee. “Consistent with the goal of the peer review program, to promote and enhance quality in the accounting and auditing services provided by CPA firms,” Krupinski continued, “our firm’s goal is to provide solutions that meet the quality standards of the AICPA.”
