Thomas Emmerling Named Canisius College LaSalle Medal Award Recipient

May 2021 – Dopkins is honored to announce Thomas R. Emmerling has been recognized by Canisius College with the LaSalle Medal. The LaSalle Medal is presented at the commencement ceremony to outstanding alumni who have made substantial contributions to advance the interests of the College.

Awarded in 2020, the LaSalle Medal was presented virtually at the joint graduation ceremony for the Classes of 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

A recipient of the College’s Outstanding Alumnus Award and Outstanding Accountant of the Year Award, Tom has served the Canisius community in a leadership capacity in many ways, including:
