Prior Experience

Prior to joining Dopkins, Evan enjoyed an eleven-year career at a leading global public accounting firm where he led complex tax engagements for a wide range of real estate clients including family offices, hospitality groups, funds, REITs, multifamily, and industrial entities. He has extensive experience with partnerships, corporations, PTET, trusts, estates, and individual taxation, while also serving as a key leader in technology implementation, process improvement, and national training initiatives. Evan has played an instrumental role in developing firmwide tax workflows, onboarding new technologies, and creating training programs designed to improve collaboration and efficiency across teams. Known for his strong leadership, technical expertise, and ability to mentor staff at all levels, he has consistently helped organizations strengthen operations, enhance client service, and drive innovation within the tax function.
